Madrid, You Weren't That Great.

I haven't been able to get very much sleep because this cold is kicking my butt. Last night it was a really bad sore throat. Tonight it is congestion and a bad cough. So I decided to blog the last of my adventures of Spring Break.

Of course, being a cheap college student, we always stayed at a hostel, took public transportation, and ate cheap food. The hostels I've stayed at weren't too shabby, and some were really nice actually in terms of service. Unfortunately that streak ended after staying in the crummy hostel in Madrid. The reception area was tiny, they sent us to a different location in Madrid where our room was (which I had read about already), the beds were awful, the sheets were awful, the room was awful, the showers were awful, the toilet was awful and there was never enough toilet paper... it was overall just awful.

I didn't care for much of the attractions in Madrid. Thus, the very few photos. It was just a place to stay to get back to London for cheaper than directly coming from Marrakesh. I'm coming back to Spain for Barcelona in early June though, so hopefully Spain is much grander there.
