Monica & Brandon: Why I Love Photographing Couples

For the amount of time that I spent at San Diego a few years ago, I wouldn't think that it would mean so much to me when I finally left for good. But it's usually when I'm driving down Torrey Pines Road (right along UCSD), I get this flood of good memories that reminds me how important San Diego is to me. I spent half of my year in Europe so I think I've made quite a good amount of trips down to San Diego this year. Every trip has been well worth it, especially this one.

I've known Monica since my freshman year of college and we've shared a lot of memories from the many sport/music events we've worked with each other, her graduation shoot, and even going to Sea World. She's definitely one of the reasons why San Diego means so much to me (the friendships gained from the short amount of time there).

What I love most about couple's shoots is how the couple interact with each other. I can instantly see the connection between the couple and as cheesy as it sounds, it makes me smile and gives me them warm feelings that "love is in the air". Hahaha
